I agree.
But information is of little use without background
knowledge/intelligence to apply/understanding.
Taking it to out to the actual situation:
There is a patient of ours who delights in writing loud
complaining letters to the local paper. Fortunately for us he has moved
onto topics away from appointments (last letter on traffic). His moan
about appointments was based upon an isolated bit of information without
any background knowledge. Yet he still managed to put a spanner in the
works and upset a lot of people. Now allow him access to a PCG board
meeting, without any understanding of the structure, purpose or more
subtle aspects - imagine the upset he could cause, the misinformation he
could spread with yet more letters to local papers ...

Well I would agree with that statement, but what about those people who
firmly believe the Web is all e mail and porn?
