hello
i am a GP in Sri Lanka with a keen interest in medical informatics,
specially computer-based patient records for real-time practice settings.
i have been on the GP-UK for about one month now.
can i ask a few questions?
1) Any idea of the PC penetration in various countries? (per 1000 population?)
once i read in PC Magazine India that,
World average is 25
USA 256
India less than 1
but the source was not give. any reliable estimates?
2) Can u recommend any reviews on partial-CPR use by doctors at the time of
the consultation in UK? (have read the IoM review)
What is u r estimate of the GPs in UK using a p-CPR?
3) Will this huge information overload of Internet make any difference to
the quality of care the GP provides? will it be really beneficial or even
neccessary?

may increase the length of the consultation" - Sullivan and Mitchell -BMJ
