I like the tropics. There are only 2 seasons: rainy and dry!
The dry was brown and the rainy was vibrant. The rain comes in big
bursts like the sky's opened up, half an hour later, it's all dried up
and the whole island looked like it had a bath! Most of all, it is
warm rain that you don't mind getting thoroughly drenched in. If
you're lucky, you could see a 'green flash'!
On Mustique, the following saying went for hurricanes:
"June: too soon, July: stand by, August: comes it must, September:
remember!"
