Consultant merit awards sem to be perceived (rightly or wrongly - no
information so only questions...) as being awarded by "some self elected
self-congratulatory club" ....
*What* are the criteria for establishing "excellence" (whatever that may
mean..;-<<) - and how do you stop the "establishment" from defining the
criteria to ensure the protection of their interests (and politicians
from rewriting the rules when it might enhance their electoral
prospects..)
