My worries also.

Central funding streams are the only proper way in my view for what will
be a Nationally integrated service.
We must resist all attempts for the funding to come from the pool,
afterall it is to benefit not just GPs but all other NHS services.
The potential savings in secondary care costs etc through NHS-D should
be used to fund the service which is creating the savings. The excess
savings released THEN go into secondary care.
This needs Goverment/NHSE direction.

Seems to be the Goverment mechanism, what ever that is.

Not familiar with the EU directives (could you enlighten me) but am all
for the transparent, openness in the NHS. Just have to get it through to
the higher management levels.
Its good to know that someone looking in from outside NHS-D has the same
concerns as those of us in looking out with the GP Eye (usually
bloodshot, swollen and closing from the multiple blows of the past few
years).
