I have yet to meet one which advertises (by DDE, or by writing to a
file or
whatever) which patient it is considering.
This is one of the keys to integrating several apps to consider one
patient.
The EMIS C terminal to NT could perfectly well advertise in such a
fashion, in
fact it is so likely to be useful to other instances of the same
program that
its absence looks far more like manufactured difficulty than like a
lack of
need or demand.
