hmmm....
maybe, somebody else has decided that the current NHSE IMG IM&T is in
fact unsaveable, and rather than have a major row before replacing it
with something new is in fact just going straight around it toward a
laudable objective.
I mean, if I come to that conclusion, it may be that somebody in a more
privileged position and with Frank reporting directly might have come
to it earlier.
INteresting appointment of Ann Harding from the NHSCCC on to NHSE IMG
to replace Frank Burns. Wild speculation here of course, but she is
the tough cookie who was postid into NHSCCC when it became apparent
what a total cockup it was, and caused certain quaking and gibbering
among the more ivied towerites there.
With a bit of kicking from below* they were induced to actually let the
Read 3 Superset out, but frankly I think the culture was too far gone,
and I see that Ms Harding is moving on without fanfares of a new order
for NHS coding or anything of the sort.
</thinks>
So, perhaps what we should be doing is building links using eg the
recently admitted TextBase project to bring NHS-Direct notes into our
records via Adastra and the PCG WAN.
