I'd like to second everything that Ahmed has said and add,
1. Start as you mean to continue.
2. Define a lifestyle that is as stress free as possible
3. Don't try and be everything to all people. Be yourself. If they
like you they will stay and if they don't they will leave. Those that
do not like your personality or methods are the ones that generate the
most Stress, be pleased that they want to move and encourage them to do
so.
4. Define your Home visiting policy -- Don't Visit anyone at home for
for anything other than bed bound conditions. (Children are NEVER bed
bound)
5. Utilise the Emergency Ambulance for Emergencies.
6. Enjoy it and remember that you are the Boss and have total controll.
Being single handed was the best thing I ever did in my Professional
life.
Good luck.
