In many general practices there is more than one terminal in the
reception or office area, and also more than one member of staff.
Each staffmember therefore is likely to use each terminal.
What solutions do people have to the problem of logging in and
identifying the changer or adder of particular information in the
medical records?
We defined two logon IDs as reception team one and reception team two,
but realistically it is not possible to tell which receptionist entered
what.
A physical ID system, such as a card for each use of the terminal, or a
ring or iris scanner, seems unfeasible, and therefore the RFA
requirements seem divorced from the real world of General Practice in
yet another respect.
