Treatment for erectile dysfunction is already available on the NHS... so
surely the only reason for banning Viagra is the ease of use (not a very
good reason IMVHO) and expense?
Many of the things we prescribe have a potential for abuse - in fact,
that may be the reason they are prescription only..
I heard (from an HA prescribing advisor - but it was in the context of a
presentation course..) that the hype is misplaced: Viagra is a treatment
for erectile dysfunction - and *not* a performance enhancer!
