we do this! works well for 3.5 of us. we have a split day 7 to 1, and
1 to 7. This enables on call doc in am to have a booked surgery in the
pm. He/she is able to fit late morning requests for urgent appts into
the afternoon docs list. Still settling in, but "urgent walk-ins" have
dramatically decreased, as have house-calls. FAR less stressful all
round.
