But, but, the PCG junta will say to you that you *must* do this
because of 101 different reasons. If you don't like the junta's
decision, they may very well let NICE loose on you!
No one is going to take data from my information system without paying
for it. That decision has led to the following argument:
1. It looks as though I am about to be allocated to a PCG
2. that forced membership is intolerable
3. either I swallow my pride and stay
4. or I leave general practice (Dobbo will need to find 7001 doctors
in that case)
5. if I decide the former, and somebody is going to extarct my data
by force for no payment, I'll dump the computer system
6. that means they'll have to come and extract it themselves from the
paper records *after* they have written to every single patient
involved for *informed* consent.
This is a very strong argument against any further development and
expenditure by my on computer systems.
