Beg to differ. From experience, I can achieve that much with, say,
e-mail. I can achieve an awful lot more with a single phone call.
Why?
Because I believe that the telephone allows the 'social qualities' to
be weighted more.
There comes a point in an electronic discussion when you want to say:
right, let's meet to close this. The 'meeting' could, of course, be
the telephone; a very young technology that is only 130 years old ;-)
