I repeat what I stated before:
Computers did not/do not make me a better doctor (personal view).
On the individual level, they make little or no difference.
If you had practised, like me, in Beirut or the Ethipia/Sudan border
under fire, you'd know what I mean ;-)
If you were a surgeon who'd make 500 bucks whipping out something
before you say 'Read code', and did 5 of these before breakfast, you'd
know what I mean ;-)
If you were a doctor doing run of the mill stuff day in day out, you'd
know what I mean ;-)
If you were that doctor, you'd want a helluva lot of convincing ;-)
Computers may, however, make a difference on the population level,
but that's a different story ;-)
