What is the risk of side effects vs benefits (both short and long term)
- and the cost (financial and otherwise - to the individual and whoever
is financing the treatment - and paying fortime of work.. ;-<<<<)) of
treatment?
If we're talking about a 5 day course of ibuprofen for a self-limiting
condition in a healthy young adult without either asthma or ulcers, is
it appropriate to *prescribe* anything?..
