I, not using it at home but can clarify the tariffs. Call charges for 1 ISDN Channel are identical to those for PSTN. If you use both channels you pay for it as two calls.
There are various deals on installation and rental which often include a certain level of call charges some of these are available direct from telcos others sometimes from H/W manufactures bundled with ISDN TA's or routers.
Tarrifs seem to be design to make meaningful comparison difficult. You should talk to all the telcos not just BT.

Anyone out there connected yet? I've been looking at doing this at home.
At the moment I lease two lines. Last years bill was UKP 600 for rental and
calls. As far as I can see the rate for ISDN would be about the same. What
I can't work out from BT's web pages is whether this is one or two channels.
