Are you not being a bit harsh here, characterising this situation as a
sort of a betrayal . You have your agenda and the other practice has
it's own agenda. Their's may not suit your agenda now , but are they
not entitled to follow it anyway? What's the phrase " just business ,
nothing personal". I am on a 1 in 2 rota and some months ago we
approached a neighbouring 5 man practice to join rotas. They refused.
After I got over my tantrum I realised that the neighbouring practice
were perfectly entitled to refuse as they did not "owe" us anything. It
lacks camaraderie but that's life. ;-)
