In the end I got through to the local Transplant Co-ordinator via the
local ITU.
Out of interest, a) Huntington's is not a problem b)over 65 yrs they are
looking at bone, skin & corneas only, c)infection as mode of death *may*
not be a problem, discussed with potential recipient hospital on each
case's merits
and d)..... the patient made a full and miraculous recovery after an
injection of diazepam to alleviate distress and change of blocked
catheter!
