Hi Chris
Tough one but it *IS* GMS as it's helping him with his grief. If you set
the rules by saying you will help with the words only, then it (might) be
possible to get it done without too much blood on the floor. He's going
to be your patient for a long while (we hope). A chat with your defence
organisation might give you some useful pointers cos there's a lawyer there
already.
And last thing in the afternoon *is* probably the best time (OK - not
Friday !) 'cos you won't do it properly in a 5 minute slot with the phones
going. Some might even suggest a home visit and leave the bleep at the
surgery but that's a very individual decision.
Sorry guys but there are some times when PCwhatsits, fundholding and all
that stuff get dumped for looking after patients (that'll stir it ;-)
Tom
