1. Certainly. GP-UK ought to be *the* prime opinion former for anyone
who cares to listen. In a way, it is.
2. In ancient times, knowledge grew organically, each generation
adding to the repository, improving, tweeking and generally learning
from past experiences.
I am fascinated by this process of 'organic' knowledge.
Over the years, there have been many questions posted to gp-uk
covering a wide range of subjects. Some questions even come back as
hte poster does not realise that that question had been asked and
answered in the past.
Again, the answers have been varied, most are of high quality and
some have even changed and improved with changing experiences and
knowledge.
Trouble is: there is no way at the moment to directly tap into that
knowledge base because it does not exist. In a way, the 'knowledge'
has benefited one or few people *at the time* then lost forever to the
community as a whole.
It would be good if we can think of a way to keep that knowledge
together as a perpetual but dynamic resource, yes?
(No, Risk, you have too much on your plate already. I said no. OK,
perhaps. Fine, may be if ....)
