> Subject: [bhia-g] Changes in Regional Boundaries - what's going on?
>
> I've just heard (in a routine LMC Newsletter) that the Regional Boundaries
have changed - *again* - and as of 1.4.99, Bedfordshire will be part of a
new Eastern Region; the little further information I have is mainly about
who's been given which post.. I don't remember any announcements, discussion
documents, business case or publicity about this change.
Reference to having a single London Region was first publicly mentioned on
27th April (see http://www.coi.gov.uk/coi/depts/GDH/coi0747e.ok) and then
new regional boundaries announced on on 18th May (See
http://www.coi.gov.uk/coi/depts/GDH/coi1667e.ok)
I even recall reading about it in national newspapers.
