If the cyst is big enough to occupy a lot of the abdomen, technically,
creating a pneumoperitoneum can be hazardous with a risk of puncturing the
cyst or some loculi, I would think. Is there a good reason why the Patient
is insisting on a laparoscopic procedure? She needs to be educated! and
professionally dissuaded from making such demands, IMHO.
