Will it link to and discuss things with your main PC? I am moving towards a
one PC laptop view. I'm fed up with at least five proprietary systems of
landline at home, mobile phone, home PC, work PC and Psion. None of them
really talk to each other. I am _seriously_ considering buying a laptop
once I get connected to NHSnet. I would then be able to move seamlessly
from home to work without the nuisance of incompatibilities. I would like
one phone (BT are releasing it later this year), when the phone will work
via the landline within 250 yards, and beyond as a cellular phone. I would
then be down to one phone and one PC. Hooray!!!
But what I need is to have a docking station at home, port replicator at
work. I would like to run my nice 21" <G> monitor from it. (Don't need
Viagra with one that big). How do I run a big monitor from a laptop, unless
I use an old PC and network? All thoughts gratefully received.
