The Puxton Report is nothing to do with PCGs or GPs it just seems to have got mention in a thread on the subject of PCGs.
The Puxton Report is an unpublished report of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society relating to the possible conflict of interests of some Royal Pharmaceutical Society council members. It has cause quite a stir in pharmacy circles but is likely to be of no interest to most members of this list.

Subject: Re: The IT infrastructure needs of PCGs
What *is* the Puxon report and what does it cover?
If it refers to the IT infrastructure needs of PCGs , why haven't we
heard of it before?
Who is on the committee?
Does it include *anyone* who knows what the *business* of a PCG will
be(especially level 4;->)
Why the lack of publicity - or is this the same philosophy as attaching
a consultation document on Access to the NHS Tracing to one on
Implementing Caldicott Guardians - and conveniently (for whom?)
ommitting any instructions on where to send responses?
