Well, a fortune at school in 1972 = 50p
I think the machines cost 20p a time.
Mind you, in them days, 50p would buy you a day out
at the seaside, fish and chips for 4, a round of
icecreams, a pot of tea, ..... and you'd still have
enough change for a pint of cider.
