This is what we have:
- Disparate GP clinical systems
- Disparate and fragmented databases
- No one knows what people
- No one knows what the rules are
- No one knows what the information needs are
- A culture in a muddle or working to self interested agenda
- Little or no money
What I need:
- A managed desktop
- Browser and e-mail functions: desktop, within Practice, intra and
inter-primary care firms
- 2-way communications for structured and unstructured messaging
- Standard EPR
- centralised databases to leverage financial, management research and
clinical information
- Performance monitoring
- Plug and play modular applications and services
- Light, fast, reliable and scalable systems based on generic, open
industry standards
- secure and trusted environment in which to trade information
- Sensitivity to local needs and variability and growth at my own pace
- Decision support: clinical and management
- Desktop CME
- Telemedicine, news feed, e-forms, patient information, brochures,
broadcasting, etc.
- Total service package
- Imaginative and flexible payment options
All are Priority One in a total, one stop shop package :-)
