Thanks for the suggestion, Mike, but it is not the case for me, I have no
.exc files on the disk anywhere.
Trefor seems to have the same problem as I have and puts it down to Gates
having put 'SO' and no 'so' or 'So' in the main dictionary by some
mischance. He says he has not been able to work round it by entering 'So'
and 'so' in his custom.dic, but for me this appears to work -- indeed I feel
a bit silly not having thought to try that before asking for help.
