Funding us to set up PCGs, and part of that being the investment in PCG
intranets - which by the example of the NHSE IMG Training group's CD
are expected to give a return on investment - save money - in most orgs
in 12 weeks of use.
THis of course demands that the org is able to abandon outmoded
activities once they are replaced with more efficent means n the
intranet, and there is some doubt whether either the NHS management or
the GPs are capable of being flexible enought to accept such and
advantage and change.
GPs are up to us, the profession, but the NHS Management is up to him,
ask him to press the m to act and chase up those that simply obstruct
progress.
