I am involved in a TPP which consists of 4 prractices covering 45000
patients. We would prefer to continue working together but realise our
numbers are not big enough. We await the NORTHERN IRELAND GREEN ( YES-
GREEN ) PAPER which is due out next week, but feel it will be very similar
to English White Paper. We are considering joining with 5 non fundholding
practices and developing a level 3 type P.C.G. Our problem will be
pursuading the local H.A. to pass down some of it's management money over
and above the £ 3 per patient. Our H.A.seems to have missed the part in the
White Paper which refers to LEANER H.A.s and P.C.G s getting more resources
as they take on more responsibility.!
Anyone else having similar problems?
