I can't recall the RB's award ever been honoured by any government.
This government has 2 million lobby fodder in the House. It will do
what it likes when it likes just like the Tories did when in the same
situation.
Like Saddam, the only language they will understand is that of force
and meaningful power.
Ask thyselves: why should they be deflected from the agenda when the
medical profession is so impotent?
Listen to the 'In the Chair' on R4 Friday evenings to get a taste.

I do not believe that the current representation is capable of ever
being gutsy over anything. Despite a so-called 'great victory' by the
GMSC in getting the Minister to so-called 'cave in', it is only time
(short time) before we all begin to realise that everything agreed will
change.
The GMSC's duty was to say: PCGs are bad. Instead, they said: OK,
we are taking it but we want to make the best out of it.
When you have a powerful opponent, the latter is seen as caving in by
the profession.
If ever we end up in a situation of 'OffDoc' run by a civil servant and
lose self-regulation, there will be no one else to blame but
ourselves.
Many dangers lie ahead. Many dangers lie submerged and we sail happily
on like it were a paddling pool.
Wake up and see the whole picture.
