Unbelievable! On our.. (shadow) PCG, we have 2 " coal-face" nurses.
(..or should that be "grass roots"?.. perhaps "hands-on" is a better
term?)... Anyway we are delighted to have one Community Nurse
representative, and one Practice nurse rep.
I am far more used to consulting with my colleagues in the nursing
profession as a day to day ocurrence over clinical matters. When I ever
talk to Nursing managers, unless they have only very recently left the
coal face, they seem to be living on another planet!
