Hi,
thank you for your answers!
I'd like to better explain why I need you opinion about your "feeling"
towards Poison Control Centres. This way I hope also other list members
will send me their opinion.
Basically, many PCC doctors actually _see_ only 3 - 4% of the total amount
of patients they treat. Nearly 95 - 96% of PCC's work is a telephone
advising to Physicians (mostly E.D. & Family Physicians) who want an aid to
properly manage their intoxicated patients.
I'd like to roughly estimate the "level" of satisfaction towards PCCs,
asking to those of you who at least called once a PCC, _how much_ you felt
helped by the telephone advising. That's why I sent the questionary yesterday.
Even if you _never_ called a PCC when facing a tox emergency
(chidren&drugs, household products, food poisonings etc), I'd like to know it.
Thanks for your help :-)
