Over the Easter hols, a student from one of the ancient seats of learning came
to see me. One of his problems was halitosis in the afternoon. Looking up, I
saw that he was sitting there, slack jaw hanging open and said "You're mouth-
breathing."
"Wha'?"
"Mouth-breathing" and explained that a dry mouth tends to cause halitosis.
Long pause.
"Are we supposed to breathe through our noses all the time, then?"
