agreed. gagging as it may be, PCGs are here to stay and it is up to us to make
the best of it. If done properly they might just improve our lot!!

Yes, we should care. This is the biggest revolution to hit family
doctor's since the beginning of the NHS. It makes Fundholding
look trivial in comparison.
We can either grasp the nettle, fight our corner, and make PCGs
work on behalf of our patients, our practices and our profession,
or ....
we can abdicate responsibility, and let Community Trusts, HA,
Social Services, and every other Tom Dick and Harry run primary
care for us.
Ahmad has chosen the latter course. Athough I usually agree with
everything he says, and have the greatest respect for his opinions,
in this matter, I believe he is mistaken.
