Sure does ... a study a couple of years ago in UK indicated a
significant proportion (approx 10-15% from memory) of elderly acute
oesophageal ulceration was associated with zoster virus in the
biopsied/postmortem ulcer tissue.

Sure the NSAID's aggravate the mucosal symptoms of the viral malaise.
That is the whole problem with NSAID's maybe - yet they are relatively
harmless in the "low risk" patient - eg. healthy, younger injured for
example.
