So you want to take the responsibility for making *crucial* decisions
on rationing and resource allocation?

But it will! Unless you are majority on governing bodies. That takes
me to my original point: if you are majority on governing bodies, you
must be prepared to be in the firing line of cuts and rationing.
Currently, almost every HA and trust are over-spent every year. Have
you asked yourself why?
Crucially: have you asked yourself what you are going to do about it
if you are
majority on PCG governing body?
The question that Trims referred to as 'choice' and I called it
'dilemma' is this:
Hips or GP premises?
CABGs or GP staff?
SCBU beds or GP IT?
Care of the elderly or review body recomendation implementation?
What is the answer? :-)

You wait for a good reform then 3 bad ones arrive at once ;-)
