Raises a few new problems, doesn't it?
Who would take legal and professional responsibility and who's
prescribing budget would be charged? (not really such a problem with
practice nurses...)
Are we looking at a scenario where virtually OTC medication can be
ascribed to a professional who has neither seen the patient nor signed
the prescription?
Would I (as a GP) be entitled to refuse responsibility - or accept the
cost?
By the way - slightly different problem - is it safe to use PC4 as a
regular method of contraception over a long period? say once or twice a
week? ;-<
