Certainly.
e-Prescription from doctor's desktop/hand-held to Pharmacy with copy to
PPA. Pharmacist dispenses, clicks on something, info to PPA, PPA
aknowledges and pays by e-transfer.
Simple technology, here today.
Better still, a swipe card both ends (prescriber and pharmacist)
Prescriber 'uploads' new script onto card, pt takes to pharmacist who
swipes card and dispenses, info is sent to PPA.
Again, 'here now' technology.
