Does the insurance company (who is paying the doctor for a service)
not have some rights in this situation? Bearing in mind that the
form often contains words to the effect of "I promise that I have
divulged every tiny bit of my medical history to the insurance
company", can there be any harm in the insurance company knowing
whether or not their (prospective) client has made an appt.
No doubt someone will now post a possible scenario where the client
can come to great harm.
