No, you're not naïve. You're still under the influence of objectivity.
Some of us are hoodwinked into thinking
(a) that PCGs will promote collaborative working and
(b) that the price of doing rationing is worth paying to achieve this.
Make sure you've got a liferaft in some form or another. You may well decide
that jumping ship is the best option. Building an escape route gets more
difficult the deeper you get into this business.

Subject: Entering the profession
Due to sit the MRCGP vivas next week I have been scouring the literature
to get up to date on recent happenings and for inspiration have been
reading GP UK. Though not a principle and only a few months after
finishing VTS it seems to me that general practice is being r******d by
the government and that we are being sailed the wrong way down the river
by the GMSC. Am I being naive?? Also, BRAVO to Dr Ahmed Risk et al
