The software seems to work.
THere is some useful info on the site.
I do not see the necessity for the secure dial-up access to it rather
than a secure sockets or whatever link over the internet.
I have definite reservations on the approach, in that I see it as
tending, yet again, to lock another group of doctors into a special
system which allows them to access information only through that, and
hides it from others.
However as the corporate extranet of a PCG it woud have somewhat to
recommend it.
It is greatly to be preferred to Healix IMHO.

HEavy duty effective software.
The BMA has standardised on it for officers and is extending it to
members of some of the committees, I don't know how fast the roll-out
is.
Out of Hours co-ops could provide a useful service, and a significant
saving of cost and effort, to their members using the networks that the
NHS should have established years ago and that PCGs will need to have
established between their practices well in advance of the start date,
by using the groupware features of Notes (or any of the others) to run
th e co-op rota and notification centrally. It would be a reasonable
solution for LMCs as well.
I am told it is expensive, and again, I would wish to be sure the
Domino accessory was in use to publish most material on the Web with
varying levels of access, rather than just the Notes client.
