Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear. There is an increased risk of finding
an aneurysm in a first degree relative of a patient with aneurysmal SAH (of
around 10%) but a much smaller risk of an SAH occuring, as few of these
aneurysms ever rupture.
If there is a history of ruptured aneurysm in two or more first degree
relatives,there may be a familial cause like Marfan's or Ehlers-Danlos.
