How about this one:
For decades womens' health has been at the top of the agenda:
eg cervical smears, free contraception, breast screening, HRT.
Now we have a drug that is apparently very effective in mens' health
and we are talking about not prescribing it! Just think how much
antidepressant prescribing could be reduced!
To answer your conudrums above, get the patient to bring in their
partner to discuss the drug. This may be appropriate for everyone.
