I have to say that I will defend the _balance of risk-benefit argument_
until I die - and I have a sceptical eye for evidence.....
.....but I have never prescribed sedation for a young child (and v
rarely for adults) - am I just a hard nosed b**stard, do these things
not present to me - or do i have other mechanisms - I honestly do not
know. Perhaps I just unknowingly run straight past the agenda of some
of my patients.
There is no doubt that it is still and art and we all paint in different
ways.(IMVHO)
Cheers all.
