Strangely, my wife commented this morning that her tennis elbow injection
had prevented her hay fever this year. I thought she had got confused as to
which depot steroid was used. Do people use kenalog for tennis elbow?

Subject: Dual Purpose Kenalog
A patient came in today for his Kenalog hay fever injection, his first
for two years.
Back then he was also suffering from tennis elbow - I remarked that the
injection would probably work for that as well!
Today he said that it had worked really well and he had not been
troubled again until recently. As a keen table tennis player he was very
grateful.
A couple of points arise...
(1) Just how accurate does a tennis elbow injection need to be?
(2) As a retrospective minor surgery claim may be a possibility, is
there a definition of peri as in peri-articular?!!
