Gosh.
I can remember a few cases in 1985 when I was at East Grinstead, but they
were pretty remarkable. We are only just beginning to have a problem in
durham hospitals this year.
Interestingly, a friend in public health points out that the use of
antibiotics in agriculture is several thousand times greater than that in
medicine, and may have a greater part to contribute in this outbreak than
anything else.
