exactly. In Germany a firm already advertises software that uses card
readers and the compulsory health insurance smart cards as control clocks
(got this from the dict.; I mean these devices that monitor when an
employee comes to and leaves work). Not everywhere people will object to
such practice in today's times of unemployment. And why not have the reader
make a copy of a card.
