My understanding from Bill Clark (Somerset HA), and I'm no techie, is that
with one of these token thingies, you would dial into the surgery server,
rummage around and then go on to surf the woolly wild web if you wanted. He
didn't see that as a problem, other than having to go through the surgery to
do this. Providing the right amount of investment, I would hope that ISDN
to surgery from home would give a reasonable connection. But how you would
stop your daughter accessing practice records, well I suppose your practice
system is password protected.
