Given that the NHS has said that year 2000 efforts are behind schedule and
that Administration may need to be left as it is not a priority the above
scenario may get a national trial come 2000. Presumably they will keep paper
records in order to know how much they paid you previously. If such
emergency action was not taken how long could you last out before you had
revolting staff (please no obvious comments I'm sure they are all
delightful!)? I guess the answer is dependent on the thriftiness of the
practice and will be very variable but just some clue would be helpful, a
week, a month, 3 months?
