>On p.5, section 4, second para, it states that "All patients registered with

>1. Has anyone else received local consultation papers like this one?
>2. Do any of them contain similar statements?
>3. What is the clarification from the HA?

Another question comes to mind, has anybody bothered to ask the patients or
am I expecting too much here? Maybe the fine detail was implicit in New
Labour's Manifesto. Excuse my cynicism but I see Primary Care in a state of
revolt, I think I know were my sympathies lie but I don't really have enough
facts about how good a service it is intended the patient should get from
this New Paradigm. (might as well use two buzz words... )
I know the customer/supplier thing is often overworked and misused in
healthcare but patients *are* customers we all ultimately pay for the
service. Clearly some are pains in the neck or elsewhere but does the
patient have any representation in this chapter of Alice in Wonderland?
I feel like a completely ignorant interloper posing these questions so just
tell me to shut up if it is none of my business <g>
